I opened my State Farm agency in 2018—I’ve been with the company for over twelve years now, and I’m proud to serve the residents of Muskegon, MI and the surrounding area, including Spring Lake, Fruitport and Grand Haven. My agency handles everything from homeowners and business insurance to auto insurance, life insurance, pet insurance and more—including financial services. I love sitting down to meet with people face to face to help them make sure they get the help they need. I have an experienced team who is ready and able to serve you.

I learned the insurance business from my family—I have relatives on my mother’s side who run an agency in Canada, and they’re the ones who taught me the human values of the business and encouraged me to take this path. I love meeting people, and I have a passion for learning their needs and finding the right coverage for their situation. I take great pride in helping customers manage everyday risks, plan for the future, and protect the things that matter most. My knowledgeable and dedicated team is filled with aspiring agents too, so you know you’re going to have their full attention and effort, every single time. I’ve surrounded myself with talented people, and each one of them has your interests at heart.

I’m a graduate of Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, where I played golf as a student. If you’re a sports fan, and my last name sounds familiar to you, there’s a good reason for that—my father played professional hockey for twenty years and was inducted into the US Hall of Fame in 2007. As for me, I’m married with four young children, and our whole family is still very active in sports. I coach golf at a local high school and I still love to play the game. I also enjoy traveling, skiing, boating and staying active in the community.

In the Spring, I coach Boys High School Golf for WMC High School. I have been doing that for four years now and love being able to give back to kids in the community. With my high school and college golf experience it is a great fit for me to be able to give back. If I'm not in the office, I am probably coaching.

I also volunteer with Lakeshore Junior Lumberjacks—a youth hockey organization that develops and guide kids in their love for ice hockey. My agency is always very active in many sport events around the Muskegon area. We support schools and their teams, we support first responders and a local hospital, and I’m also a member of the Muskegon Lakeshore Chamber of Commerce. I love knowing that my team and I are making a positive impact in the community—when you’re a business owner, it’s important to step up and do more.
