Since founding my State Farm agency in 2018, I have been dedicated to providing exceptional insurance and financial services to the residents of West Michigan and surrounding communities including Muskegon, Spring Lake, Fruitport, and Grand Haven. My passion for insurance began early, inspired by my family’s deep roots in the industry. On my mother’s side, relatives operate a successful agency in Canada, where I learned firsthand the importance of integrity and genuine care in serving customers. These foundational values continue to guide me as I build lasting relationships with each customer, striving to understand their unique circumstances so we can protect what matters most — today and for the future. I earned my degree from Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, where I was an avid golfer and developed a strong work ethic and leadership skills that I bring to my agency. You might recognize my last name from my father’s celebrated professional hockey career, which spanned over 20 years and earned him induction into the US Hockey Hall of Fame in 2007. Family is central to my life—I’m happily married and a devoted father of four young children. Our family shares a love of sports and community involvement, which enriches both our personal and professional lives.

Giving back to the community is one of my greatest joys. For the past four years, I have had the privilege of coaching the Boys High School Golf team at WMC High School, where I mentor young athletes and help foster their growth both on and off the course. I also volunteer with the Lakeshore Junior Lumberjacks, a youth hockey organization dedicated to nurturing a passion for the sport and teaching life skills through hockey. My agency actively supports local schools, first responders, hospitals, and community events throughout the Muskegon area. As a proud member of the Muskegon Lakeshore Chamber of Commerce, I am passionate about making a positive difference and strengthening the fabric of our community.

When I’m not working or coaching, you’ll likely find me enjoying outdoor activities such as skiing, boating, or spending time on the golf course. I believe that balancing work, family, and community involvement leads to a rewarding and fulfilling life.

In the spring, I have the joy of coaching the Boys High School Golf team at WMC High School, a role I’ve cherished for years as a way to give back to the youth in our community.
